Namasu- Japanese Style Pickled Daikon Radish and Carrot
Easy Sushi Vinegar (for 3 cups rice)
     
  Namasu - Japanese Style Pickled Daikon Radish and Carrot
   

Ingredients:

Daikon radish 10-15 cm
1/2 carrot
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of Rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of Carwari Agave Nector Dark


Directions:


Cut daikon radish and carrot into julienne stripes. Add salt and mix it. Leave it for about 15minutes. Adjust salt, depends on the amount of daikon radish.
Squeeze the moisture out of the vegetables when they get pliant.
Mix vinegar and Carwari Organic Agave Nectar Dark.
Put the vegetables and wait about 15 minutes. Adjust each ingredient amount to suit individual tastes.
Serve it and sprinkle roasted black sesame seeds and thinly cut lemon peel for the decoration if you desire.

   
  Easy Sushi Vinegar (for 3 cups rice)
   
 

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons of rice vinegar
2 tablespoon of Carwari Agave Nector
Light 2 teaspoons of salt


Directions:


Stir all ingredients together.
To make sushi rice, pour the Sushi Vinegar over cooked rice while it’s hot.
Stir to combine and put a wet tea towel then leave it for 10 minutes to let the sushi vinegar is absorbed into rice.
Take off the wet tea towel and fan it to cool & glossy.
The sushi rice should be completely cool before using.
