Korean style pancakes 

Ingredients: 8 small pancakes

100g of organic flour
1 tablespoon of Carwari Organic Roasted Sesame Seeds (Ground)
1 tablespoon of Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
1 egg
120ml of shiitake soaked water
A pinch of salt
1 small chili – remove the seeds and chop
A half bunch of chive – cut into 3cm length
4 dried shiitake mushrooms (soak in the water) – slice thin after squeeze excess water
8 leaves of coriander

(Sauce)

1 tablespoon of soy sause
1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
1/2 tablespoon of water
1/2 tablespoon of Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
A pinch of powdered chili
A pinch of sugar
1 teaspoon of grated garlic (Optional)
1 teaspoon of Carwari Organic Roasted Sesame Seeds Chopped chives or shallots

Direction:

  1. Sieve flour and place it into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, Carwari Organic Roasted Sesame Seeds (Ground) and the beaten egg. Pour Shiitake mushroom water and Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil in it right away and beat quickly.
  2. Pour the batter into three bowls, add chili, sliced shiitake mushrooms.
  3. Heat Carwari Organic Roasted Sesame Oil on the pan and cook the batter. Cook it until the bottom is lightly browned and put a coriander leaf on top. Then flip it and press the pancake with a turner and make it thin. Cook with low heat until golden brown.
  4. (Sauce) Mix all the sauce ingredients together and add Carwari Organic Roasted Sesame Seeds and chopped chives.
  *You can add seafood or meat (pork or chicken) if desired.
*Please adjust amount of shiitake soaked water depends on your ingredient and your desired texture.
